The design was inspired by sunglasses worn by a member of a British rock band in the 1990s that the design team respects. It features an oval lens shape and slightly wide metal temple that are symbolic of the era. The rim uses the TV-RIM developed in the 2019 AW model 215. Inspired by cathode ray tube televisions, this part is extremely difficult to manufacture, as it requires engraving lines at 0.2mm intervals on the inclined portion of the inside of the rim. The color of the code c.922/ANTIQUE BROWN was also taken from the sunglasses worn by the member, and the color tone was carefully reproduced by a skilled painter.

The sunglasses use original colored 4-curve lenses made from Japanese glass lenses, which are made by mixing metal particles and other ingredients to create the color, then melting them and molding them one by one.
