This model incorporates the “barrel shape”, a defining element of the 2025 Autumn/Winter collection, into a plastic frame. The structural motif was inspired by the ancient Japanese architectural technique known as kumiki. While the exterior presents an extremely minimal look, with no visible pins or screws, the interior features a complex design and meticulous craftsmanship. The sunglasses use the original “EYEVAN 2 curve lens”, a Japanese-made glass lens that is made by mixing metal particles and other ingredients to create the color, then melting it and molding each lens individually.
