Based on the top bar style often seen in German eyewear from the 1970s, this model is a larger version of the 2019SS model “158”, which was inspired by the TV screen case design of a watch from the 1970s. The top bar, called the “T-BAR” developed for the 2021 Autumn/Winter collection, features a structure that changes the angle of the part to prevent back-shave. The inorganic and robust endpiece and temples blend naturally with the minimalist front design. The sunglasses use the original “4 curve lens”, a Japanese-made glass lens that is made by mixing metal particles and other ingredients to create the color, then melting it and molding each lens individually.
