This model pays homage to the historical eyewear that is said to be the origin of German design, with the 7285 interpretation as the image. The bridge, endpiece, and offset temples were newly developed for this model and feature the 7285 signature “7285 stripes” in an extremely precise balance with a 0.15mm pitch. The craftsmen used a special blade that was faithfully reproduced from a vintage machine catalog to create beautiful acetate brow parts with the R10 shape. This model embodies the 7285 manufacturing philosophy that “things that cannot be made now and things that can only be made now possess the same value”. The sunglasses use the original “4 curve lens”, a Japanese-made glass lens that is made by mixing metal particles and other ingredients to create the color, then melting it and molding each lens individually.
